Hi, I’m Dr Florence Drummond.
Hi, I’m Florence, the chiropractor behind Flora Chiropractic here in Ocean Grove.
I’m passionate about helping people move well, feel strong, and feel more at ease in their bodies. My goal is always to support you in feeling capable, balanced, and able to enjoy everyday life without your body holding you back.
I trained at AECC University College in the UK and have worked with a wide range of people over the years; from athletes and weekend warriors to families, professionals, and retirees. I love that every person who walks through the door has different goals, and I tailor care to what your body and lifestyle need.
My approach combines hands-on chiropractic adjustments with cranial techniques, activator and blocking methods, and soft tissue work like trigger point release and cupping. I also bring in exercise-based principles to help reduce pain, restore movement, and build long-term strength and resilience, not just short-term relief.
Originally from the UK, I love that Ocean Grove reminds me of the coastline near my hometown. Outside the clinic, my husband and I enjoy staying active and making the most of the beaches and the coastal lifestyle here, which is a big part of why supporting active, balanced living means so much to me.
I enjoy working with active people, including golfers, swimmers, runners, triathletes, and gym-goers, as well as desk workers and busy professionals who want to improve posture, performance, and overall wellbeing. My philosophy centres around helping people “find their flow” by restoring rhythm and balance between the body and everyday life.
My Approach
My clinical approach is structured, thorough, and outcomes-focused. Care begins with a detailed assessment to understand how your body is functioning, the factors contributing to your symptoms, and what you want to achieve. Where clinically indicated, and to support safe and informed decision-making, I may refer for imaging such as X-rays.
Treatment is tailored and may include a combination of chiropractic techniques, soft tissue and myofascial therapy, and exercise-based rehabilitation. This integrated approach is designed not only to address current discomfort, but to improve movement quality, build strength and stability, and support long-term resilience.
Appointments are unrushed and in-depth, allowing time for proper assessment, hands-on care, and clear guidance. Each person is provided with a personalised management plan aligned with their goals; whether that is returning to sport, improving daily function, managing stress-related tension, or moving with greater confidence. The focus is always on meaningful progress, not quick, temporary fixes.
If this sounds like the care for you, I am exctied to meet you soon!
