My chiropractic care is tailored to your body, your comfort level, and what you’re coming in with on the day. I use a range of techniques so treatment can be gentle, precise, and effective, whether you prefer a lighter approach or more traditional adjustments.

Diversified adjustments are the classic hands-on chiropractic technique many people are familiar with. These specific adjustments help improve joint movement, reduce restriction, and support better overall body function.

The Activator method uses a small handheld instrument to deliver a very gentle, targeted impulse to a joint. It’s low-force, precise, and great for people who prefer a lighter approach, are more sensitive, or need a more specific correction.

Blocking methods involve using supportive wedges to help the body release tension and restore alignment in a subtle, relaxed way. This technique works with your nervous system and is often deeply calming while still being effective.

I also use cranial techniques, which are very gentle and focus on releasing tension patterns through the head, spine, and nervous system. These can be especially helpful for stress, headaches, jaw tension, and helping the body shift out of “fight or flight” mode.

By combining these approaches, care can be adapted to support pain relief, improved movement, nervous system regulation, and long-term body balance, all in a way that feels supportive and safe for you.

Myofascial & SOFT TISSUE THERAPY, trigger point therapy, and CUPPING

Alongside chiropractic care, I offer myofascial and soft tissue therapy to help release areas of tension, improve mobility, and support how your body moves and feels day to day. This hands-on work focuses on muscles, connective tissue, and areas that may be overworked, tight, or compensating.

Trigger point therapy involves applying gentle, sustained pressure to specific points of muscle tension. This can help ease local discomfort, improve muscle function, and reduce patterns of tightness that build up from stress, posture, or activity.

I also use cupping therapy, which uses suction to lift the soft tissues and encourage circulation to the area. Many people find this helpful for relieving muscle tightness, supporting recovery after activity, and promoting a sense of ease in the body.

These techniques are often combined with chiropractic care and movement guidance to support pain reduction, better mobility, and overall body balance — in a way that feels supportive and appropriate for you.

Functional Movement and exercise rehabilitation

I also incorporate functional movement and exercise rehabilitation as part of care. This focuses on how your body moves in everyday life; walking, lifting, sitting, training, and everything in between.

Often, ongoing discomfort or recurring issues can be influenced by muscle weakness, reduced stability, or movement patterns that place extra strain on certain areas. By identifying these patterns, we can introduce simple, tailored exercises to help improve strength, control, and coordination.

The aim is to support your body in moving more efficiently and confidently, reduce unnecessary strain, and build resilience over time. This approach works alongside hands-on care to help maintain changes, support recovery, and reduce the likelihood of problems returning.

Exercises are always matched to your current ability, lifestyle, and goals , whether that’s getting back to sport, feeling more comfortable at work, or simply moving through daily life with more ease.
